Philipp Lauer is a veteran German DJ and producer who’s been carving his path through the scene for over two decades. Known for his diverse musical portfolio, he’s ventured into many collaborative projects and aliases over the years. Each of them offering a unique sonic experience and pushing the boundaries of electronic music to explore new territories.

You might have heard of him as Arto Mwambe with Christian Beißwenger, Black Spuma with Fabrizio Mammarella, Crabsticks with Bård Aasen Lødemel, Hotel Lauer with his brother Jacob, T & P with Tim Sweeney, Talamanca System with Gerd Janson and Mark Barrot, Tuff City Kids with Gerd Janson (again), and of course solo as Lauer.

His musical journey can be traced back to his early days as a skateboard kid enamored with the sounds of the '80s and '90s. It was through his exploration of electronic music that he found his true calling, diving headfirst into production despite humble beginnings with cheap software and a steep learning curve.

While his music is deeply rooted in house and disco, his sound is characterized by its melodic beauty and infectious grooves. He blends elements of nostalgia with modern-day sensibilities, creating a sound that is uniquely his own.
