Shifting by Prower

Here's my 3-track dreamy, electronic EP titled 'Shifting' which is really a tribute to the Gravity Rush series. I often find myself needing to draw inspiration from fictional media a lot of the time to write music and Gravity Rush has been a series that I was able to be completely invested recently. It was definitely one of the games that have made these past two years (which have been somewhat difficult for me) a lot more bearable, hence, I wanted to write tracks inspired by the feelings I get playing the game itself.

'Eto' is my interpretation of the past of the main character, whereas 'Io Waltz' is about gracefully waltzing around with the 'lunar style' mode. Similarly, 'Shifting' is based on the freedom of falling around the open world in pretty much any direction, which is one of my favorite aspects of the game.
This has been a somewhat slow year for me but nevertheless, I'm really glad I was able to put something together before the end of this year considering how 2020 has gone. I hope you enjoy the EP and I hope it makes you consider trying out the game since it's super underrated... please.
