Following the identity conflict recorded during Paradox, Grid Control initiated a reconstruction of corrupted Archive material.

The objective was verification.
Fragments associated with the observation chamber were isolated and rebuilt from multiple independent records.
The reconstruction was completed successfully.
No valid identity could be assigned to the resulting form.
Visual data showed a humanoid structure assembled from elements belonging to both previously observed subjects.

No corresponding body was detected inside the chamber.
The source records were suspended.
The reconstruction remained active.
Further analysis revealed references to an older dormant transmission embedded beneath the recovered data.
The record had existed before the current incident sequence.
It had never been classified as active.

Until now.
What remained after the subject could no longer be verified was not an identity.
It was an afterform.
