We knew too much.
We had designed the most accurate map of the territory
since the inception of the labyrinth.
Many lands had gone through a change,
and the order of nature had been reversed.
Living water was flowing
and we were unable to contain it.
Through a connection to a hidden voice
we found all instruments required
to mutilate life as we knew it.
But we did something wrong.
When the quantum information left the calendar
it dissipated into the labyrinth.

Supported by data received from the space telescope
we descended into the earth
and ascended to the heavens.
Maybe we would find something new.
We were now inhuman,
unable to discriminate between
a farmer and a small town.
We now contained the light of nature
within ourselves.
We had become a fundamental property of the labyrinth.
Upon our completion,
this information would be released from the calendar.

We noticed our mistake.
We also found that the labyrinth had a lot of dark recesses.
This is where the last year would migrate after ending.
But did the last year exist?
The last year was in fact constructed
from the very fabric of the labyrinth.
It may have existed since the beginning.
We simply didn't know enough.
