proofReading Your Mind Hamburg Indie from Hamburg & from the heart. proofReading Your Mind is the musical project of Oisín Morris, an Irish singer-songwriter based in Hamburg/Germany. His music is strongly influenced by indie bands and singer-songwriters as well as americana and folk. The lyrics are often short stories, occasionally touching dark subjects like violence, death and smashed teeth, but often also humorous and tongue-in-cheek. In the tradition of Irish singer-songwriters like Glen Hansard or Damien Rice, Oisín always sings his heart out. What started off many years ago as a home-recording project turned into a band in 2014. Since then the band has played lots of gigs at festivals, clubs, open mics and open stage nights. Drummer Tammo Ballantyne is notable for his complex and diversified grooves far away from mainstream pop and rock. Ben Christian on bass with his decades of stage experience is the pole of stability within the band. And since 2016 second guitarist César Osorio from Columbia has been adding new colours to the band sound. After nearly playing 50 gigs the band is releasing it´s first eP “Not Even Tryin´" in January 2019. The single "Top-Heavy" received more than 17.500 plays on spotify. The band is releasing their second eP in 2021.
