UN rejects the IHRA wda - Britain must too by Proletarian Radio

At the launch of the Antifascist International on Saturday the 5th of September in London, Dr Massoud Shadjareh of the IHRC spoke at the session on “Political freedom under attack”

He highlighted the work of the IHRC, speaking up for the rights of British citizens to speak freely in support of Palestine.

Which CONCLUDED on the IHRA wda:

“97. The “working definition” of antisemitism by the International Holocaust Remembrance Association [IHRA] is incompatible with international standards on freedom of expression. States should rescind their adoption and application of it and refrain from promoting it.”

“The Secretary-General has the honour to transmit to the General Assembly the report of the Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of the right to freedom of opinion and expression, Irene Khan, submitted in accordance with Human Rights Council resolution 43/4.”

The world has rejected the IHRA wda as an attack on freedom of speech, as political censorship and repression that SUPPORTS THE GENOCIDE IN GAZA.
