For decades, successive governments have implemented measures aimed at undermining public health provision and turning the nation’s health budget into a funding stream for private corporations.

The crisis in healthcare provision is neither inevitable nor irreversible. We can and we must take action to defend what is left of the NHS, renationalise what has been privatised and rebuild the health service we need, deserve and pay for.
