Launching the Antifascist International in Britain by Proletarian Radio

This country urgently needs a genuinely anti-imperialist antiwar movement. We must take this opportunity to bring together all those who are willing to build one.

The Antifascist International in Britain does not aim to be one more paper proclamation. Its founding conference set the stage for bringing together as many individuals and organisations as possible. All those who are genuinely trying to build solidarity with the countries and peoples targeted by imperialism; all those organising against genocide, against the fascistic repression of protest and free speech; all those who have realised that the ‘official’ antiwar and solidarity movements are being run by the same Labour party that also runs the war machine have a golden opportunity to combine their efforts and to build a national organisation that will put into practice a programme of meaningful antiwar activity.
