Film review: Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey by Proletarian Radio

Proletarian writers | 2 August 2026

Even while staying true to the spirit of the original epic, Nolan has created a deeply thought-provoking parable for our own time.

The Odyssey is both stunning in its depiction of the ancient world and bang up to date in showing the brutalising consequences of wars for domination and conquest.
