Talk of renationalising the steel industry doesn’t reflect a meaningful change in ideological, political or societal outlook; it is a ruse to hide increasingly intense war preparations.

Our demand must be: complete nationalisation without compensation of every part of the British steel industry, massive reinvestment in modern production facilities and training, and a plan for production that will enable the industry to meet all the needs of the population.
