Composer and drummer Mike St-Jean together with electronic artist and filmographer Math Rosen join forces in ProJect, a collaboration that presents jazz-meets-electronic atmospheres and grooves in a new light, creating an innovative sound unlike any other this country has to offer.

The resulting 5 song ep Alchemist is a strong and impressive debut full of subtle rhythms, lush arrangements and infectious moments where keys, double bass & drums explore dynamic, tonal and energetic possibilities founded on digital samples & loops; this digital element is taken a step further with the addition of an interactive laptop Instrumentalist, remixing live bass, keys, guitar and drum feeds back into the mix, bringing the potential of the modern jazz band to a new level.
