This is an orchestral piece with traditional Chinese instruments (Guzheng, Ruan and Dizi). Inspired by the ancient Chinese drama Forbidden Love, which tells a story of two people in love, who bravely defy fate and feudal rituals to support each other. The style of this piece is similar to that of the drama, in the feudal era, love that was not accepted by the world was destined to end in tragedy, full of tears and pain, even though it was beautiful and romantic. The following instruments were recorded: Harp by Holli Pandit, Bass drum/tam-tam/cymbal/glockenspiel/crotales by Yufei Zhu, Horn by Haowen Dong, Trombones by Xin Chen and Seth Evarts, Violins by Tiantong Wu, Jing Liu, Yihan Lin, Yu-tang Chien, Viola by Jinhe Huang, Cello by Tiange Li.
