Project Butterfly with over four decades in the music industry and more than two decades as an international DJ and producer, Project Butterfly is recognized as a pioneer in electronic music. Known for her genre-fluid style, immersive performances, and boundary-pushing artistry, she has built a legacy rooted in sonic exploration and cultural impact.
Project Butterfly’s music spans well over twelve electronic genres and extends into numerous non-electronic styles. Furthermore, her work does not incorporate artificial intelligence and is produced independently, without collaboration. Vocal processing is limited to subtle, transparent pitch correction, and no Auto-Tune is used.
Her musical path began in the world of fashion modeling, where she first encountered electronic music. By age fifteen, she was captivated by the underground scene’s raw, experimental energy, particularly the echoing tunnels where she began mixing vinyl. Naturally drawn to the underground—where sincerity, creative freedom, and innovation take precedence. Influenced by a wide spectrum of auditory styles, she studied music production and honed her skills—transitioning from tunnels to global club stages.
Project Butterfly is an accomplished vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter whose work has been performed by notable artists. Influenced by rock and seasoned mentors, she brings depth to her sound. Behind the scenes, she has thrived as a booking agent, promoter, A&R, and executive producer, building a strong presence on and off stage.
After completing her Doctor of Liberal Arts in Music, Project Butterfly adopted her current moniker and signed with her first label in 2022. Since then, she’s consistently released innovative music that blends emotion, rhythm, and unforgettable sound design—leaving a lasting impression on listeners around the world. Project Butterfly released her debut studio album, 'Skittles', in January 2024.
In 2025, Project Butterfly was diagnosed with spinal cord injuries, compounded by additional spinal complications and additional chronic illnesses—an undeniable major professional setback. Nevertheless, she continues to adapt, determined to sustain and evolve her artistic path. In 2026, Project Butterfly embarks on an extensive course of surgical procedures.
Project Butterfly is a passionate human rights advocate and serves as a member advocate for the United Spinal Association, LGBTQIA+ communities, and RAMPD.Empowered by her passion and resilience, Project Butterfly continues to break boundaries and inspire change through her remarkable music and unwavering commitment to empowering others.
