dread by augury

sense yourself tainted
abandon all attempts to restrain it
my whole mind is twisted
this dread im encased in
shadows that no light could dispel

walking with closed eyes trapped in my own mind
starting to see why i can’t feel alive
left denied, ill leave it all behind

where will i take this
rapid spreading sickness

tangled wires in the system
what have i created
exuding hatred

figures in the window
gutted by stillness
lure me into limbo
guided by visions
gaze around the walls
waiting for a call
when will I receive a signal

send a bullet to his dome make him fall asleep
wasteland ima roam like a zombie
where you stand you will fall end up crawling
just want a sense of belonging
the essence is haunting
