Governor Hochul Announces $36M to Law Enforcement Agencies for the Fight Against Gun Violence by Governor Kathy Hochul

July 23, 2025 - Brentwood, NY - Governor Hochul, joined by local law enforcement and elected officials including County Executive Ed Romaine, visited the Suffolk County Police Academy to announce that $36 million has been awarded to local law enforcement agencies across the state to bolster efforts to reduce gun violence.
