Governor Hochul Announces Significant Progress in the Fight Against Crime by Governor Kathy Hochul

March 4, 2024 — Latham, NY — Governor Hochul announced significant progress in the fight against crime in New York’s Capital Region and across the state. During a visit to New York State Police Troop G Headquarters, Governor Hochul highlighted an overall decline in crime in the Capital Region and announced gun seizures are up by 160 percent across the state since the Governor took office.
