Plane altitudes map to pitch, and distance to the plane maps to MIDI volume. Data comes from my ADSB receiver (https://flightaware.com/adsb/prostick/), which publishes flight position data on a TCP port. Code running on my Mac reads that data and maps it to MIDI notes which are sent to a DAW.
