2. Rattraps - Smitten (Paces Remix) by Good Street Records

We at Good Street Records are pleased to be releasing Smitten, by upcoming Australian producer http://soundcloud.com/rattrapsofficial. This EP comprises of the original mix by Rattraps, and four remixes by http://soundcloud.com/paces, http://soundcloud.com/dispondant, http://soundcloud.com/itsallgully + http://soundcloud.com/ventah, all with very different takes on the original track.
Based around an Aretha Franklin vocal sample and soulful piano, these tracks show off five of the hottest producers around at the moment. The Original Mix is uplifting, blending Footwork rhythms with the catchy Aretha vocal. Paces remix brings the tempo down to 140, giving a garage/bass music feel to the track. Dispondant's Workin Hard remix is bassy and unique, with a driving juke drum pattern. He is definately one to watch in 2014!
Gully adds a twerk feel to his remix, lowering the tempo down to 99bpm. To finish off the EP, Good Street head honcho Ventah strips the track back to its basics, and bringing in a pounding 808 kick and bouncy congas.
In April + May 2014, http://soundcloud.com/rattrapsofficial will be undertaking an Australian tour, visiting Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. If you are around, make sure you see him!
