In this past week's sermon, we have been served by God to appear in court. Pastor Alice presents the case and asks us - do we not see all the ways that God blesses us? And what do we do with those blessings? Do we use them for our own gain or to help others? God does not want repayment or a feeling of guilt for our blessings, only to walk with each other in kindness and love. We are called to open our eyes and see the pain in the world and remember to do justice, do kindness, and walk humbly with the Lord.
