Good Room Solitude Series 006 - Facets by Good Room BK

While all of us are living the quarantine life, Good Room has asked friends and residents to share mixes for our Solitude Series so you can dance on your own. The sixth mix comes from Facets. Facets came to New York by the way of London and Belgrade. He has a passion for all things leftfield, electro, techno, acid, balearic and beyond. Facets is the man behind Samo Records label and Samo Nights party which explores the darker, moodier side of electronic music. He has also released on Calypso Records, Deep House Amsterdam, 44.100hz Social Club and more. Facets is a core member of glitterballnyc, a website showcasing electronic music in NYC. Here's what he had to say about the mix;

"For some time I’ve been thinking of making a mix of only New Beat records. For this mix, the tracks were released between '86 and '91 (some original versions, some modified by myself and other producers). The first half is the slower stomping stuff, then it gets faster and trancier in the second part :) "
