Good Room Solitude Mix 003 - Juan MacLean by Good Room BK

While all of us are living the quarantine life, Good Room has asked friends and residents to share mixes for our Solitude Series so you can dance on your own. The third mix comes from Juan MacLean. Juan played the opening night of Good Room back in 2014 and has been a regular fixture at the club ever since. Juan has released several albums for DFA Records and has made everything from electroclash, disco-punk and electro to techno, house and deep house.

Here's what he had to say about the mix - “I have recreated the first hour of my last set at Good Room. On March 7th I closed out the night at Good Room. It was an epic night, one we had all been looking forward to for months, a lineup stacked with good friends, all amazing performers and human beings. There was Josh JDH and Dave P., Thomass Jackson, Zombies In Miami, and me in the Main Room, Factets and Rocco Desentis in the Bad Room. It might have been my favorite night I’d ever had there. I got there 4 hours before my set and danced non-stop with friends. Little did I know it would be the last Saturday night Good Room would be open for who knows how long now. One thing I do know is that when the first party happens there again I will be there, whether as a DJ or a dancer or both, and you’ll have to carry me out of there when it’s over!"
