The latest installment features an in-depth artist interview with Chicago-based comedian (soon to be L.A.), Danny Sellers and a beautiful guest mix by one of the best DJs in Chicago, Bonita Appleblunt. Danny has performed in comedy clubs throughout the Windy City, including Laugh Factory, Zanie’s, Second City, Lincoln Lodge, among many others. When he’s not on stage he stays busy working at podcast company, Headgum, as a co-founder of Parallel Park Chi, an outdoor music & comedy show, as a founder of The 9-5 Podcast Network, which includes a couple different shows all centered around work/life balance as a creative, as a co-host of The Pop Up TV Season 2 which live-streamed on YouTube, AND he’s also dabbled in clothing and has had his merch worn on Desus & Mero. So basically he’s booked and busy.

Your favorite DJs favorite DJ, Bonita Appleblunt is a DJ and Audio Engineer, who is the resident for AMFM where they got their start DJing AMFM’s monthly music and art showcase, The Jazz Series. They have played at numerous locations around the city including The Promontory, Soho House, Subterranean, Virgin Hotels, and tons of other hot spots. Bonita specializes in exploring the lineage and inspiration of modern and underground music genres with their African roots and you’ll hear that all throughout this week’s guest mix. Enjoy.
