We're very honored to present a collection of original compositions & field recordings from 2016 - 2019 by Norweigan based artist - Vera Dvale. @eradvale

Much like the landscapes on the islands in the north where Vera Dvale lives, ’Music is Kinship' invocates a space where time and mind stand still, drawing the listener into a solitary moment with all that is beautiful in nature - allowing for a rare opportunity of contemplation, inner reflection and centeredness.

These delicate and carefully considered loops, combined with a focus on length, slowly change and evolve across the duration of the tape, evoking different emotional states of mind, just like the ever changing temperatures and weather of the northern region.

Though power of this sound collage is not just limited to those specific lands and waters, 'Music is Kinship' is of those rare recordings that provoke and create a sense of presence no matter where you are in the world. Magnifying the beauty and sounds that lay in front of us every moment of the day, though perhaps many of us often take for granted and forget to appreciate....Stillness Speaks.
