Status: 2 month hiatus from music due to personal issues
/GoodIns/, also known as Ruby or Avery, is an underground music artist that has been making music since Febuary of 2026, releasing his first song on Spotify 6 months later. Avery is known to have a nice, and funny, comedic appeal to how he sees his music. Inspired by Vertigoaway, Pipotaku, and Femtanyl, he creates aggressive electronic music as a hobby.
The name /GoodIns/ comes from Avery's username on many platforms for gaming and whenever he had tried out doing social media in March, 2025. Eventually, he ran into problems of his own. He disappeared from social media completely on May 6th, 2025.
Avery's journey of music began in November, 2025, when he wanted to have a fresh start after moving down to Florida. After a lot of thinking, he eventually had the idea to make music. He had originally made cover songs at the start of his career, and wanted to later on sing. He had realised that that singing wasn't his thing and had left the music community entirely in December, 2025, until returning on Febuary 28th to begin working on what would be known later as Inescapable Psychosis. "I honestly got the idea in the shower." he had said on how he began his journey, "The lead came up in my head. It sounded good, so I let my mind continue to do it's thing, and it led me to make my first electronic song."
Avery originally released Inescapable Psychosis the same day he started on it. He didn't seem to mind it at first, but later on he knew he could do better."I honestly thought about giving up. If it weren't for the support and motivation of my family and peers, I wouldn't be where I am now." He eventually finished his song, having 2 rough drafts, an original SoundCloud release, and eventually a Spotify release. He officially released Inescapable Psychosis on Spotify on August 2nd, 2026.
For now, Avery's identity in music remains a mystery, as he is still trying to make a mark for him and other people, scratching the surface of different genres. "I just want to see what kind of music is right for me, and I'll go from there." Avery prefers to call his type of music, "... Derealization Bitstortion. It's a combination of heavy bitcrusher followed by distortion to really give the lead and bass that primal scream I want."
Avery is dedicating himself to be a future role model for future music artists."I want to be seen as someone that people can look at and say, 'wow, I want to do what he did.' I would love to be the person that someone relies on."
Although /GoodIns/ is at its beginning, its gonna go places in the future. Behind the scenes, Avery is planning on his debut album, followed by upcoming singles he's working on right now!
A new legacy is beginning, not just for Avery, but possibly for the next generation of electronic artists to come!
