I wrote this track about the real experience of telling someone how you feel and being let down.
Not just about being disappointed, but also being lied to when a feeling is not reciprocal but the other person can't be straightforward and clear.
I wrote it as it happened and it helped me process it, especially after turning it into a energetic positive sounding, upbeat indie pop song, despite the lyrics being about a tough experience.
