Reasons by Gonzo Mendes

Reasons started off as a beat posted on IG, that had a spatious opening melody, some loungy synths and a guitar hook that would later make the chorus. In an attempt to explore new sounds and genres as a producer, this was feeling like it could be a hip-hop / rap track, even though it's not usual territory. I found the right voice and flow by collaborating with Isaac Zale, an up and coming artist I had been listening to often in the last year. The arrangement turned the beat into a song, carving out space for Isaac's words. Hope you like as much as I liked making it
