“내 색깔을 만들고 유지해가려고 해요. 저는 소속이 있는 것도 아니고, 저 만의 파티가 있는 것도 아니니, 더욱 내 스타일을 만들어야하는 입장이에요. 가끔은 제가 어떤 스타일의 음악을 트는지 잘 이해하지 못한 상황에서 섭외를 하시는 경우가 있어서 당황스러웠던 적도 있어요. 그렇더라도 예전에는 그 베뉴에 맞춰서 틀려고 노력했는데, 요즘은 제가 틀고 싶은 것을 더 틀려고 해요.”

“I focus on shaping and maintaining my own identity. I’m not tied to any collective, nor do I run my own party series—so it’s even more important for me to define my style. Sometimes I get booked by people who don’t fully understand the kind of music I play, which can be a bit awkward. In the past, I’d try to tailor my set to match the venue, but these days I prefer to play what I truly want—so long as it doesn’t disrupt the overall vibe.”
