"I have the feeling that a lot of relationships nowadays are not real because too many people are afraid of getting hurt. I feel like people are hiding behind a mask or ‘’behind the glass’’ a lot. I wrote this song about an authentic relationship I had with someone a while back. There is nothing more beautiful than being able to be yourself around someone. I believe that yes it can fucking break your heart when you risk trusting someone, but the memories, knowledge and strength you gain out of these situations makes it worth it. I know my heartbreak made me who I am to some extent, that is why I don’t regret anything. This song is also inspired by my daughter, who will be born anytime. I wanted her to be listening to a soothing voice during my pregnancy, it definitely had an effect on the vibe of the song since I was singing it for her." - Celeste Collins
