My participation in the golden globe race suddenly came to an end. I have experienced some bad weather the last couple of days, and knockdowns. The windwane has broken and i was repairing it. I had the parts for the windwane in the vice, and then there was a big sea, and then I capsized. When the boat came back up, there was chaos everywhere, the mast was broken, and that means the end of my participation. I'm sorry, I can't continue, because it was really fun as long as it lasted. However, I want to thank everybody that gave me support in any kind of way. I'm so sorry. Or I'm not sure if I'm sorry is the right word, this is how the weather is, and you can't rule over the weather, and the seas have been terrible today, and in the end, this was the result.
