The Star-Spangled Kangaroo by Caitlin Johnstone published on 2023-07-27T04:51:38Z A new US warship has been ushered into service in Sydney. The ship is called the USS Canberra to honor the military union of the United States and Australia, and, if that's still too subtle for you, it has a literal star-spangled kangaroo affixed to its side. Reading by Tim Foley. Genre News & Politics Comment by Veterans for Peace THE HECTOR BLACK CHAPTER Listening to this made me remember the limited Netflix series Pine Gap which I thoroughly enjoyed. It was about a US/Aussie intelligence site near Alice Springs Australia. It was pulled and I wondered why. It received horrible reviews for acting, writing you name it and I could not figure out why. Then I realized that it was probably pulled because it came way to close to depicting the US/Australian alliance with the adversary China. So much of the story line and characters could be related to what we hear here from Caitlyn and what we see on independent media. So after a kangaroo on the side of a US warship, I wonder what crumb the US will throw Australia next, a nuke with a Koala? 2023-07-27T19:19:52Z
