The CIA in particular make me know our democracy was co-opted long ago by people whose drive for power and for corporate interests around the world makes democracy an illusion. Most US citizens are so highly propagandized, you cannot even speak to them about the unending atrocities and the blood-dripping hypocrisy. If Americans had to visually confronted these atrocities across the world, the death, torture, inhumanity, whether done by the military complex or its lackeys, they might take pause, might become uncomfortable, might have the scales removed from their eyes & see the acute suffering of real humans done in their name. I hate the indifference. Assange is a thorn because he peeled back the thin veneer of US criminality. For that he will be put to death or hidden away and rot in prison. Everyone should see it for what it is. 2021-11-02T12:14:50Z
