Both are the result of incompetent and atrocious individuals who control our freedoms as they wish. It doesn't matter where they live or where they are imprisoned. They have been deprived of their freedom by humans, and since Navalny has already paid the ultimate price, it presents an opportunity for the rest of us to prevent Assange from experiencing the same fate. Sorry, although I much admire your dedication to the human cause, wrong is wrong, and as Marshal McLuhan said some time ago, "The world is a global village and what happens in one part of the world affects all the parts" , or something to that effect.
