The Last Bus Out of Mercy by Godvliet Records

Miriam Rowe sings her way through The Last Bus Out of Mercy in eight raw acoustic story songs, narrative folk about a Great Lakes factory town after its main plant closes in 1987. Rent envelopes, missed buses, picket lines and borrowed coats fill the verses. Underneath them sits the decision the record keeps circling: whether to leave a town that has failed you and still counts as home. Godvliet Records has new music out weekly.
