The Family We Made Room For by Godvliet Records

Making room for someone new does not mean somebody else has to disappear.

The Family We Made Room For follows a young man through a changing household, separate visits, an old bedroom and a birthday that becomes two good days. Eight connected songs move between awkward humour, loyalty, hurt and ordinary acts of care. Warm acoustic guitars, intimate verses and open melodic refrains leave space for a family with more than one history.

Composed by Judi Godvliet.
