Gobstopper Records continue their strong run of 2014 releases from label boss Mr. Mitch, Strict Face and MattWizard with Dark0's 'Fate EP'.

Drawing his influences from old and new grime productions, the 'Fate EP' pays homage to Dark0's favourite video game soundtracks with contagious melodies and a low-end driving force sculpted for maximum impact on headphones as well as the dancefloor.

Dark0 kicks off proceedings with the colorful synth work of 'Amethyst', a track previously teased out on his Soundcloud. The melodic focus continues on the deep tones of 'Gaia', while the low end pulsings of 'Black Rose' and the military 'Mako March' lead the way for the minimal leaning 'Evisu', wrapping up with '2lips' - a tune somewhat reminiscant of 'Sweet Boy Pose', a track that received heaps of attention at the end of last year.

Hailing from North West London, Dark0's self-released 'I Ain't A Sweet Boy EP' and 'Zero' mixtapes earnt him a place in FACT's "2014’s grime producers to watch" list, while his 'Sin EP' for Visionist's Lost Codes label showed a continued progression of his sound ("One to watch" - Thump), with support from many of the scene’s leading figureheads. His music has had radio play on Radio 1 & 1xtra, Rinse FM, NTS, Capital XTRA radio and more.
