Gobey & P-Gial is a reggae/ragga project formed in Aigio, Greece, playing both as a duo (loops/effects and guitar) and a band. They were core members of Balkan Riddims (digital reggae) and founders of Just Dread (roots reggae non-active band) with whom they released several music videos, singles, EPs and a full length album. Since they were looking for a new way to express themselves musically and spiritually, Gobey & P-Gial starting playing as a duo. They have performed many gigs and festivals all over Greece ( Athens, Thessaloniki, Larisa, Tripoli, Patra etc). The highlight of their career was their supporting act for Kadebostany at Palaia Sfageia, Patra in Septempber 2015. Gobey & P-Gial music is a blend of reggae, ragga-rockers style and mediterranean elements with spiritually qualified lyrics, based on the code of love and unity aiming to the conscience of the audience. Their influences originate from the carribean vibes of Jamaica, the beat of the African drums and rythm as well as the new wave of Californian reggae. As a duo, they have released a single-music video on the worldwide known german reggae magazine, Reggaeville, called "Trust" with great feedback and another single called "Music Has No Borders". This tune features Jorge, an upcoming greek artist. Currently, they are working a tune with the popular greek producer Kill Emil which will be included in Kill Emil's 2018 album release. Due to their inclination to be a part of a musical team, they came up with the idea to form Gobey & P-Gial 5 membered band. Sharing the same vision and the high purpose of light Gobey & P-Gial band recorded their first full length album with a lot of surprising features which was released on the 2nd of April 2018. Their new single "Pushing Hard"is out now on all digital platforms.
