Due to his passion to collect American and French Rap records, WIZ takes his first steps as a DJ during the late 90s. Fascinated by this new discovered craft he spends day and night refining his DJ skills. Within the mid 2000s the member of Biel’s DoubleTrouble DJ-Crew is already said to be one of his hometown's finest. After over a decade behind the decks and his first steps as a beatmaker, DJ WIZ releases his producer debut album in 2010 as part of the group Ruck N’Wiz (Ruck P and WIZ). Thanks to very positive reviews and airplay on national radio and MTV, their record called "The Essential Part" (featuring artists such as Masta Ace, Delinquent Habits, Fashawn or Termanology) gets a lot of attention. After their first release, Ruck N'Wiz win 2011's national M4Music "Urban" Award and they're able to establish themselves as a cornerstone in Switzerland's Hip Hop landscape. During the same time WIZ doesn't sleep as a solo artist. By releasing several mixtape- series called "Years Too Late", "We Be Clubbin" and "Wizness As Usual" the co- promoter of the event series "Rap History" proves the deepness of his record collection in an impressing way. Within a few years WIZ is able to develop his reputation from a well-respected underground Hip Hop head into a celebrated musical allrounder, said to be one of his country's most versatile DJs. By releasing the series "A Journey Through The Samples" with Ruck N'Wiz, several Nu- Disco projects with Boulevard 95 and the mix-series "Next Wave" during the past two years, WIZ gets major international attention and is able to continue building his reputation as a multi-genre artist. Without doubt DJ WIZ is one of todays top DJs in Switzerland, performing weekly at the finest clubs and festivals all over the country. With over 15 years of experience, the 30 years old DJ is able to rock any crowd from a fancy club event to an underground Hip Hop jam or a future groove party. By dominating the Red Bull Thre3style 2015 Swiss Finals and becoming 2nd runner up at the World Finals in Tokyo, WIZ once again proved his skills on the turntables.
