Psychedelic Bloodbaths Wharf Cat Records debut, aptly titled “Alien.”
Spanning six tracks of lush beauty and noise, reverb dripping down the wall and dark corners haunted by shredder guitar. Conceived from lost causes, sleepless nights and a mysterious illness/brush with death which landed the guitarist in the hospital, Alien is less about extraterrestrial beings and more so about alienation from one’s self and from those around you. However, at it’s core this is not a downer record, but rather a burst of energy, songs of hope for the lost, to be truly free.

Psychic Blood, Western Mass trio formed in early 2010 but have only been operating under the name since mid 2011. The band has a number of cassette releases with the last being Nightmare Beaches, released as a limited run on Sonoran Desert based tape label Ascetic House. Psychic Blood have played shows in many corners of the US as well as touring with bands such as Nü Sensae, Naomi Punk and Cottaging.
