WE ARE THE FUTURE!, the global interdisciplinary artist collective, label, and event series, proudly announces the release of its first Various Artists compilation: GLITCHES B!TCHES CLUB — a 9-track transmission beamed from the cutting edge of club culture. Featuring a boundary-blurring lineup of femme and non-binary producers from NYC, LA, Toronto, and Veracruz, Mexico, this compilation is both a dancefloor weapon and a philosophical proposition: What if the glitch wasn’t a flaw, but a feminist strategy for survival?
Traversing the emotional terrain between electronic dance music and cybernetic noise, each track channels the spirit of sonic cyberfeminism, a framework that disrupts binary thinking, resists optimization, and makes space for multiplicity, mutation, and mess. This isn’t music for passive listening—it’s a manifesto in motion.
From the glitch-scorched landscapes of NINANINA’s “XTR” to SLEEPYLYCHEE’s industrial-laced groove “MetalGroove,” and the cinematic, pressure-cooker tension of Ani Klang’s “Titular Concept,” every track is a ritual of resistance, a coded message from the fringes of rave. X Chroma’s “Orchid Spotting” blooms with botanical breakbeats and field recordings, while Gatorkitty’s hyperpop-adjacent “PLANET DRILL” pounces with playful intensity.
Aphrodite Areia’s “Gaslit” roars with gothic techno power, rooted in dualities of beauty and war, while Jessie Winters’ haunting “After the Fall” evokes trance as elegy. Anomus drops “Sequel,” a tightly wound acid techno vortex built for the afterimage of the club, and SENAIDA, the collective’s founder, closes the album with “Mother Earth (Extended Mix)”—a sprawling posthuman hymn to entanglement, channeling Donna Haraway, Holly Herndon, and the ghost in the machine.
