Agent WALL is a musician and urbanist who began releasing music in 2024. His work fuses dubstep, UK garage, neurofunk, synthwave, electronica, techno, house, trance, dub, disco, acid, and IDM into a cohesive, progressive, catchy sound that sits between innovative, divergent and accessible.
Rooted in a background in urban design and economic geography, he has spent years working as a professor in global urban economics, before recently shifting his focus toward electronic music production. His music explores, for instance, globalisation, city-life, inequality, technological acceleration, cultural transition, transcendentalism, and futurism, translating complex systems into rhythm, texture, and narrative.
Born in Zimbabwe, raised in South Africa, and currently living in the Netherlands, his music is shaped by contrasting geographies and cultures. Agent WALL's work carries a strong sense of place and materiality, where sound becomes a medium to reflect on origin, movement, and transformation. The result is a distinctive artistic identity: conceptually grounded, sonically diverse, technically skilled, and emotionally direct, creating music that resonates emotionally, intellectually and viscerally. To emphasize this, Agent WALL also makes his own artwork and videos.
