Volco & Gignoli Paris At the end of 2012, Argentinian musicians and composers Sebasttian VOLCO and Pablo GIGNOLI come to Paris, France, where they form a duo of piano and bandoneon. Together, Volco and Gignoli create their own musical language, which combines tango, jazz, rock and avant-garde music, and develop a unique expressive style of playing. Their concerts resemble theatrical performances, where intimate and tender moments are alternated with violent explosions of energy, creating an illusion that something bigger is happening on the stage than a duo playing. The first album of Volco & Gignoli relased in 2013 includes compositions of Sebastian Volco and Pablo Gignoli and a few arrangments of pieces written by Argentinian and North-American composers: Charly Garcia, Luis Alberto Spinetta, Frank Zappa, Joe Zawinul and Miles Davis.
