Unraveling 03: Get Lost to Get Found by verysheri

What’s it like to get a message so clear that resisting feels more impossible than surrendering? This episode is about the lessons that come from venturing into the unknown and daring to discover the version of yourself you might meet there. To get prepared, I talked with two travel savvy friends. One who flies the skies as an airline attendant and another who gets to drop in to remote places across the globe working for The Center for Disease Control. They both provide some very compelling insights on the impact of travel.

The backstory:
My journey of unraveling began in late 2016 when I walked away from a 20 year relationship that no longer sparked joy. As anyone who has gone through a divorce knows, these decisions are not easy, they only happen after much hardship is endured. For me, there was no turning back. The day I made the decision to surrender, was the day my life changed forever. I became a seeker. A seeker of my truth.

This show is dedicated to the individuals I met on this journey whose voices I wanted to amplify in service of others who may find themselves in similar times of transitions. Ending the marriage was step one, the career soon followed. I was left to sit in the discomfort of not knowing what my life was supposed to be about. That curiosity has led me here and I will continue to follow the threads of aliveness that began by first getting to know myself more deeply.
