WIZS - Your Community Voice. Host John C. Rose speaks with Marcia Allen, Chairperson of the Vance Co. Democratic Party, who are sponsoring a food drive held at Perry Memorial Library today. Also appearing from the event are Sheriff Curtis Brame and Clerk of Court Henry L. Gupton. All three discuss the importance of helping the community and how events like this help bring people together. Several other events are happening today and later this week around Vance County including additional food drives and an appearance by the Raleigh Firebirds basketball team and they are discussed on the show as well.
