Scotland published on 2022-02-18T12:04:19Z 5 Nations 1 Voice is an alliance made up of five charities across the UK and Ireland that support Care Experienced children, young people and adults: • Become in England • Empowering People In Care (EPIC) in Ireland • Voices Of Young People In Care (VOYPIC) in Northern Ireland • Voices from Care Cymru (VFCC) in Wales • and Who Cares? Scotland This special podcast has been released in celebration of Care Day. Care Day originated in Scotland in 2015 and takes place on the third Friday in February It is now recognised internationally as an opportunity to celebrate the lives and voices of Care Experienced people. This year the theme for Care Day is around community. We recently welcomed Care Experienced young people and adults from across the 5 nations to our Care Day digital village, where we explored community through the themes of education, transitions, accessing information, and recreation. We’d like to thank everyone who attended that event and shared their stories with us. There was such range of ages and experiences, which made for rich conversations.
