DCxPC Live Vol. 2 Presents TV Generation & The Sinema "Loustream" Live Benefit for Uncle Lou's by DCxPC Live published on 2021-05-03T18:36:36Z Let me pause for a moment to explain the value of Uncle Lou’s: It is the one place that every music scene needs. You can be punk, metal, indie, ska, jazz infused acoustic power violence, etc. it doesn’t matter. Lou will book you. You could be a 15 year old kid in your first band or a 50 year old veteran. Lou will book you. You could be a local band looking to play your first show ever or a touring band looking to play Orlando for the first time. Lou will book you. In fact, when my band formed, we couldn’t find a practice space and on the nights they didn’t have any show, we asked if we could practice. Lou booked it. So with that being said, with the pandemic in its full rage, music venues, especially small ones like Lou’s, were suffering terribly. As such we chose to do a Loustream to benefit Uncle Lou’s. Uncle Lou’s supported the scene for years, so now it was time for the scene to support Uncle Lou’s. We asked for donations during the Loustream and we were able to donate $$$ to Lou’s. The vinyl you hold in your hand is another form of donation. ALL sales of the album, not just the profits, will go to Lou’s. DCxPC Live is more than willing to take a loss on the sales of the album to ensure that money is given to a venerable club that has always supported the live music scene in Orlando.
