Haiti Occupation Under the Cover of U.S. Led Black Face Imperialism by Black Agenda Radio

Dr. Jemima Pierre is a Black Agenda Report contributing editor and a Professor of Global Race in the Institute of Race, Gender, Sexuality and Social Justice (GRSJ) at the University of British Columbia. She joins us from Vancouver to discuss the October 2nd United Nations Security Council vote which approved yet another occupation of Haiti which will begin on October 9. There were 2 abstentions, from Russia and China, while the 13 other nations all voted yes. The Security Council voted to approve, but the occupation is not a UN mission. Dr. Pierre will explain the implications of this arrangement.
