Black Agenda Radio for Week of October 12, 2020 by Black Agenda Radio published on 2020-10-12T17:18:37Z Beware the Movement’s “Controlled Opposition” Shannon Jones, of Bronxites for NYPD Accountability, who was among 250 people arrested at a massive police assault on protesters, June 4, warns that some corporate foundation-funded groups now constitute a “controlled opposition” to the ruling order. “Follow the money,” said Jones. “There are so many organizations that are profiting and poverty-pimping off of Black pain and struggle.” Jones’ organization and others have for several years been confronting the NYPD under the slogan “F the Police.” Community Control of Police is a Right and Necessity In response to protests, the eastern North Carolina city of Greenville has discontinued its ties to the Pentagon’s infamous 1033 program that funnels military weapons and equipment to local police. However, the city continues to resist demands for community control of police. “We want to live in a society where these forces are nonexistent in our communities,” said Dedan Waciuri, of the Mapinduzi organization. “We have the ability to protect ourselves. Roots of “Strong Black Women” Ideology Systemic oppression, from slavery to mass Black incarceration, has led Black women to value self-reliance, said Dr Ashlee Davis, supervising psychologist at Fordham University’s counseling center and author of an article titled, "Traditional Femininity Versus Strong Black Women Ideologies and Stress Among Black Women." During slavery and its aftermath, “African American women had to take on roles reflective of both traditionally feminine and traditionally masculine norms – having to be both the father and the mother,” said Davis. Black Agenda Radio on the Progressive Radio Network is hosted by Margaret Kimberley and Glen Ford. A new edition of the program airs every Monday at 11:am ET on PRN. Length: one hour. Genre News and Politics Comment by John Ellis As America has always had a class war, with the educated upper-half of society using poverty to enslave the 50% working-poor, voting for either Joe Biden or Trump will only make matters worse. For both Biden and Trump intend to continue enriching themselves upon the misery of the working-poor, and the best thing we can do is vote for the Green Party as a show of full support for all of the millions now being evicted from their homes. 2020-10-13T05:39:52Z Comment by John Ellis A psychologist is one who preaches a fake morality, an all-faith and no-fact religion based on the illusion that nothing is absolute right or absolute wrong, nothing is good or evil and that if we just allow killer-cops to take care of the criminals, well, everything will be just fine. 2020-10-12T19:26:10Z Comment by John Ellis In all the world and in every class of women on earth, black, brown and white women of the American laboring-class, they have the highest divorce rate, the highest percentage who live alone and they suffer by far the greatest depression. All because of divorce court being totally corrupted by the rich. 2020-10-12T19:06:29Z Comment by John Ellis During the days of chain slavery, the slave fathers were forbidden to have any control over their boys. Instead, to emasculate boys at an early age, mothers were given big sticks to beat their boys into submission. And so, now in the days of economical slavery, the rich created divorce court to separate fathers from their children and to turn the black, brown and white laboring-class into a society dominated by independent, strong and self-willed women. Truly, the main reason for why Empire USA has a 50% working-poor, is a matriarch ruled society forced upon us, such that totally destroyed is the moral fabric of society. For no man in the laboring-class ever wins in divorce court, no educated man with wealth even looses. 2020-10-12T18:45:56Z Comment by John Ellis Root cause for the lower-half of society being enslaved as the 50% working-poor, this is due to race predigest, education bigotry and wealth hoarding stupidity. For it is human nature to feel superior toward those with less education, less wealth or less whiteness of skin. And so, when you rehash the misery in this problem, while saying nothing about the root cause, you accomplish nothing but confusion and cause more harm than good in reaching agreement on the solution. 2020-10-12T18:19:09Z Comment by John Ellis Laboring-class neighborhoods contain only the uneducated lower-half of society, the 50% working-poor. And so, perfection would be for police to be forbidden to enter laboring-class neighborhoods, and all security to be provided by poor residents. And to maximize participation, limit security people to only 8 hours of duty per week. 2020-10-12T17:48:28Z
