The focus for 2016 at Eurosonic Noorderslag is the conclusion of the Central European Talent Exchange Programme - CEETEP -. Together with 14 countries and in total 17 CEETEP festivals in the CEE region and selected CEE media, the partners have developed a plan to encourage the circulation of CEE artists and music repertoire in Central and Eastern Europe, both at festivals and in the media. By working together, the CEETEP festivals and media partners aimed to help more CEE artists to perform across borders within Central Eastern Europe, and via shows at Eurosonic Noorderslag, throughout the whole of Europe and beyond. The partner festivals were: B'estfest (RO), Exit Festival (SRB), Galapagai (LT), Inmusic Festival (HR), Krakow Live Music Festival (PL), Meadows in the Mountains (BG), Open’er (PL), Pohoda (SK), Positivus Festival (LV), Rock For People (CZ), Slovenian Music Week (SI), Sziget (HU), Taksirat Festival (MK), Tallinn Music Week (EE), Vilnius Music Week (LT), Waves Bratislava (SK), Woodstock Festival Poland (PL).
