Griffith J. Davis was a pioneer African American journalist, photographer and U.S Foreign Service Officer stationed in Lagos, Nigeria for USAID at the time of his lifelong friend Martin Luther King, Jr.'s assassination on April 4, 1968. Asked by his Anglican church in Lagos, Nigeria to give a speech about King at their Memorial Service, Davis describes their friendship, King's impact and extracts from the title and content of King's last book, "Where Do We Go From Here?".
