In this debut episode of the Spotlights podcast, host Matt Young chats to Cognitive Psychologist Dr Kay Ritchie about her research into face perception. Kay tells us about her fascination with how humans recognise and differentiate faces, and how we might not be as good as we think at telling strangers apart from each other. As it turns out, understanding the psychology of face perception has a big impact on modern technologies and has the potential to challenge a lot of common assumptions we have about ourselves and our way of doing things.
